Sova does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting services, no third-party tools that collect user information.
All data you enter into Sova — including items, maintenance schedules, photos, warranty details, and receipts — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
If you enable iCloud on your device, Sova will sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure and governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not operate any servers and have no access to your iCloud data.
Sova does not require or offer user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no email collection. You can use the full app without providing any personal information.
Photos taken or imported within Sova are stored locally on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, within your private iCloud container. Photos are never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties because we do not operate any servers.
Sova Pro subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple manages all billing, and their privacy practices govern that transaction. We receive only anonymized subscription status information from Apple (active, expired, etc.) to determine whether to unlock Pro features.
If you grant notification permission, Sova schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of upcoming maintenance tasks. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device. No notification data is sent to any external server.
Sova does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. The only external service involved is Apple's iCloud, which is controlled by your Apple ID settings and governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Sova is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children. Since we do not collect any data from any user, this is inherently satisfied.
Since all data is stored locally on your device and in your private iCloud account, you have full control over your data at all times. To delete your data, simply delete the app from your device. To remove iCloud data, go to Settings > Apple ID > iCloud > Manage Storage > Sova and delete the data.
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version at this URL and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
